Cookies and Local Storage
1. Scope and definitions
This page describes what regestown.com ("the Service") stores on your device, and why. It supplements the Privacy Policy and the Terms of Service. "Cookie" means a small text file a website asks your browser to keep and send back. "Local storage" and "session storage" are browser storage areas that work like cookies but are not sent to our server automatically. "Including" means "including without limitation".
2. Summary
- We set only strictly necessary cookies, and only if you sign in. We set no advertising, analytics, profiling or social-media cookies.
- Because we set no cookies that need your consent, we show no cookie consent banner. If we ever add any non-essential cookie, we will first ask for your consent and update this page.
- We run no analytics service. Visiting the Town without an account sets no cookies from us.
- We honor the Global Privacy Control signal and do not track you across other sites.
3. Cookies we set

None of these cookies is used for advertising or tracking, and none is shared with anyone else.
4. Local and session storage
The Town stores the following in your browser. These items stay on your device; they are not cookies and are not sent to us automatically, although the Town may read them and send the content (for example your display name) to our server so that others can see you.

5. Third parties
- Stripe. When you buy a Billboard Rental, send a tip or open the billing portal, you leave our site for pages hosted by Stripe, Inc. Stripe sets and reads its own cookies there, including for security and fraud prevention, under Stripe's cookie policy. We do not control them.
- Google. If you choose "Continue with Google", Google's own pages set Google's cookies under Google's policies. Our pages also load fonts from Google Fonts; your browser sends your IP address and browser details to Google to fetch them, and Google may cache fonts on your device.
- Streaming platforms. If you watch the Town on YouTube, TikTok, X or another platform, that platform's cookies are governed by its own policy; they are not set by regestown.com.
6. Your choices
You can delete or block cookies and clear local and session storage in your browser's settings. If you block the strictly necessary cookies, you will be unable to sign in, rent a billboard or manage a rental, but you can still walk around and watch the Town as a guest. If you clear local storage, the Town forgets your name, graphics choice and position. A Global Privacy Control signal from your browser is treated as an opt-out of any sale or sharing of personal information; we do not sell or share it in any case.
